Welcome to the Home of the Flathead A’s!
Our mission is simple: to provide every youth athlete in the Flathead Valley with the opportunity to play baseball, develop their skills, and learn valuable life lessons through the game.
The Flathead A’s offer competitive summer baseball programs across multiple age divisions, giving athletes the chance to grow both on and off the field.
With access to a state-of-the-art baseball facility, customized strength and speed development programs, and an experienced coaching staff with higher-level playing experience, our goal is to help every player reach their full potential.
We are committed to developing confident, disciplined, and hardworking athletes while creating an environment where players can build lasting friendships and a lifelong love for the game.

The Flathead A’s are back for another FUN year of competitive, club baseball. The Flathead A’s mission is to grow the game of baseball here locally while providing opportunities for our athletes to compete against fierce competition and develop both physically and mentally. A’s Tryouts are for ages 9u - 14u.
A’s players receive all the tools to develop into an elite athlete and ball player with access to our indoor space, sport specific training programs and individual work to do outside of practice. Our staff of coaches are excited to get better with your athlete in 2027!
Players are encouraged to attend BOTH tryout dates. They will need to attend a minimum of one or make other arrangements to be considered for the 2027 Flathead A’s.

9 & 10u: 9:00-10:30 AM
11 & 12u: 9:00-10:30 AM
13 & 14u: 9:00-10:30 AM
THURSDAY, September 17th
9 & 10u: 4:30-6:00 PM
11 & 12u: 4:30-6:00 PM
13 & 14u: 4:30-6:00 PM
For players in middle school or younger, practices will begin in the spring. Plan for practices 3-5x/week accompanied with regular athletic development training and arm care routines.
The Flathead A’s encourage players to participate in Local “Rec” League Baseball but don’t require it. The Flathead A’s will provide early spring opportunities to all middle school and younger players to practice and play baseball with the Flathead A’s.
Rosters will be limited to +/- 11 players per tournament, along with a 3-5 player “taxi” squad that is eligible to earn playing time at tournaments given their effort, and improvement.
Schedules will be tailored to each team and may vary on exact start date. Typically the “Tournament Season” runs from late April to Early July. Flathead A’s teams typically participate in 5 - 8 Tournaments with extra local games on top. All capped off by the Montana Superdraft in late July.
Final Schedules will be released in the Spring of 2027
FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITIES
Fundraising efforts are already underway! Our Scholarship Board has fundraisers going year round. Players will be able to partake in fundraising to cut down, or eliminate cost of entry. We also have additional scholarships available for those in need. Players/parents will be responsible for their own travel/accommodations during tournaments.
Every athlete will have the opportunity to fundraise ALL registration fees. Costs below include all tournament entry fees. Last year, we AVERAGED $925 raised per player (with many well above that amount) and anticipate more this year. Payments will be due in May, June, and July. Fundraising opportunities are scattered throughout May and June. This allows our A’s families to avoid any payments until July or at all! Please feel free to reach out to any of our coaches for more info on fundraising opportunities as we get closer to the season.

Our teams typically compete in five competitive tournaments throughout the summer baseball season, providing athletes with valuable opportunities to develop their skills and compete at a high level.
At the Flathead A’s, we believe in equal opportunity for every player. That means providing meaningful playing time and opportunities to experience different positions, allowing athletes to grow and develop in all areas of the game.
We believe baseball is about more than individual success or failure. Every player deserves the opportunity to compete, learn, and contribute to the team.
