Purchasing this item will allow player to access to each tryout date.

We aim to bring competitive baseball teams to the Flathead Valley in 2026. We are offering teams from 9u up to the 18u levels. With use of our indoor space and access to sport specific training programs, your player will be set up with the most advanced and well rounded club in the state.

Players are encouraged to attend ALL tryout dates. They will need to attend a minimum of one or make other arrangements to be considered for the 2026 Flathead A’s.

Tryout dates:

SATURDAY February 14th

-12 and under: 9-10:30 AM

-13 and up: 10:30 AM-12 PM

THURSDAY February 19th

-12 and under: 5-6:30 PM

-13 and up: 6:30-8 PM

THURSDAY February 26th

-12 and under: 5-6:30 PM

-13 and up: 6:30-8PM

SUNDAY March 15th

-12 and under 9-10:30 AM

-13 and up: 10:30 AM-12 PM

For players in middle school or younger, practices will begin in April. Plan for practices 3-5x/week accompanied with regular athletic development training and arm care routines.

The Flathead A’s encourage players to participate in Local “Rec” League Baseball but don’t require it. The Flathead A’s will provide early spring opportunities to all middle school and younger players to practice and play baseball with the Flathead A’s.

Rosters will be limited to +/- 11 players per tournament, along with a 3-5 player “taxi” squad that is eligible to earn playing time at tournaments given their effort, and improvement.

Each team competitive will play the tournaments listed below accompanied by 10+ additional games

• May 15 - 17 Zootown Classic (Missoula) (9u, 10u, 11u, 14u)

• May 22 - 25 Spokane Memorial Bash (Spokane) (11u & 14u)

• May 29 - 31 Zootown Throwtown (Missoula) (9u, 10u, 11u, 14u)

• June 12 - 14 Copper City Clash (Butte) (9u, 10u, 11u,)

• June 19 - 21 Libby Border Brawl (Libby) (9u, 10u, 11u, 14u)

• June 26 - 28 Rocky Mountain Rumble (Whitefish!) (9u, 10u, 11u, 14u)

• July 3 - 5 Kalispell Firecracker (Kalispell) (9u, 10u, 11u, 14u)

• July 8 - 13 ***** TBD

• July 23 - 26 2026 MONTANA SUPERDRAFT (EVERYONE!!)

FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITIES

Fundraising efforts are already underway! Our Scholarship Board has fundraisers going year round. Players will be able to partake in fundraising to cut down, or eliminate cost of entry. We also have additional scholarships available for those in need. Players/parents will be responsible for their own travel/accommodations during tournaments.

Every athlete will have the opportunity to fundraise ALL registration fees. Costs below include all tournament entry fees. Last year, we AVERAGED $925 raised per player (with many well above that amount) and anticipate more this year. Payments will be due in May, June, and July. Fundraising opportunities are scattered throughout May and June. This allows our A’s families to avoid any payments until July or at all! Please feel free to reach out to any of our coaches for more info on fundraising opportunities as we get closer to the season.
